About Party City
Party City is an American retail chain of party stores that sells a variety of party supplies, costumes and special occasion items. Party City was founded by Steve Mandell in East Hanover, New Jersey, in 1986. What started as a single 4,000-square-foot location rapidly turned into a success and the opening of more locations. After a successful first year of business, Mandell turned his focus to Halloween, which proved to be a wise move. Halloween continues to be a year-round emphasis within Party City stores and has branched out to include about 300 Halloween City pop-up locations annually. In-store locations can fill balloons with helium, while some offer balloon delivery.

Organization Discounts
All schools and nonprofit organizations are offered a discount at Party City store locations. Simply visit a store and present an officer-signed letter from the school or organization on official letterhead to access the organization discount. The discount gives 10% off any purchase of $75 to $125, 15% off any purchase of $126 to $200 and 20% off any purchase of $201 and higher.

Balloon Delivery
Free scheduled or same-day balloon delivery is now available on orders of $39 or more. Order before 4 p.m. local time to get same-day delivery or schedule delivery up to 30 days in advance. Balloon orders can also include balloon accessories such as balloon weights, tails and tassels.

Curbside Pickup
Shoppers can order online using the "Availability" feature to check for products in their store, select "In-Store or Curbside Pickup," and then place their order. Shoppers will receive an email when their order is ready to be picked up.

Returns
Party City is happy to accept returns and exchanges on items within 30 days of purchase with the initial receipt. To be accepted, items must be undamaged and in their original packaging.
